  9. Q.      The instructions in the SKYCOP.CFG say I must name my ANSI and
  10.         ASCII bulletins with extensions *.ANS and *.ASC, but I want to
  11.         name them BULL6.BBS and BULL6G.BBS or some other BBS specific
  12.         format. How do I do this?
  13.  
  14. A.      The game requires that all bulletins displayed within the
  15.         game end in extension ANS or ASC, however, you should be able
  16.         to create the files you want in the batch file used to call the
  17.         game. For Example:

  20.                   C:
  21.                   cd\bbs\doors\atc
  22.                   ATC.EXE C:\BBS\NODE1\DOOR.SYS
  23.         ADD  -->  COPY c:\bbs\doors\atc\atc.ans  c:\bbs\bull\BULL6G
  24.         ADD  -->  COPY c:\bbs\doors\atc\atc.asc  c:\bbs\bull\BULL6

  26.         The above of course is an example only. You'll need to use your games
  27.         paths and filenames.

  29. Q.      I was told by another sysop that if I delete the file INUSE.FLG
  30.         before running SKY COP, then I can run it on more than
  31.         one node at a time. Does this work?

  33. A.      You bet. Until the one time that more than one node accesses the
  34.         scorefile at one time. Then you find your scorefile in shambles!!!
  35.         This game will play on more than one node, BUT, only one at a time.
  36.         If you choose to over-ride this, you are on your own!!

  38. Q.      I've heard that SKY COP can be enjoyed at home without a
  39.         BBS. Is this true?

  41. A.      Yes, simply run ATC.EXE from the dos prompt with no command
  42.         line parameters, and it will prompt you for your name and play
  43.         as usual.

  62. Q.      I am running SKY COP InterBBS as a hub. One of my downlinks
  63.         data is not being processed. It comes in nightly, but is not shown
  64.         in the score files.

  66. A.      Sounds as if you and your downlink are using different PLAYS PER
  67.         DAY or TIME PER TURN settings in the SKYCOP.CFG. All league
  68.         systems MUST all be set to the same. If not, the data will be
  69.         ignored.

  71. Q.      When I run the InterBBS module, I am getting an error message?

  73. A.      This could be many things. One possible cause would be that not
  74.         all systems in the league are running the same version of SKY  
  75.         COP. First check to ensure that all systems are on the most
  76.         current version.

  78.         Some of the earlier versions of ATCIBBS.EXE contained several
  79.         bugs that would cause this. If you are not sure you running the
  80.         current version, please check FBN BBS.

  82.         If you are using the current version, and all systems are running
  83.         the same, then please advise Mace Software of the message.

  101. Q.      I've heard that Sky Cop's registration fee has been changed from
  102.         $15.00 to $10.00. I registered several months ago. Can I get a
  103.         refund?

  105. A.      If I decide to raise the prices later, I have no intention of
  106.         going back and asking for more money from those already registered.
  107.         Likewise, no refunds for previous registrations will be made.
